My opinion about wine
Welcome to this site. My name is Jean-Charles Botte ex sommelier of La Méditerranée (restaurant in Paris)and sommelier Xich-Lô
I am a wine writer specializing in natural wines (organic farming and a winemaking with natural yeast and just a little sulfur).
In France, there are 30,000 independent estates, and only 2,300 growers in organic farming for the year 2010.A journalist called me : the natural wine advocate and Crazy sommelier.
I am 47 years, I weigh 77 kg for 1m87. I drink 2 glasses of natural wine per day and I'm against alcoholism. When I drink chemical wine, I have a headache and stomachache. I am very sensitive with chemicals inclued in the wine
I have interesting ideas and convictions about wine. My first book will be downloadable in a month: tasting lessons with a organic sommelier (translated by Geoffrey Finch)
